I worked at Rhodes for years and didn't even know that their was ship wrecks in Homebush Bay there.
It's funny how you change your perspective to explore and you find amazing things in your own backyard.
Go checkout the ship wrecks in Homebush Bay. From what I understand this bay was used for ship building / ship repairs and the ships were left here as waste from the closure of these companies.
Wow a blast from the past a must paddle and a blast from the past.
Some nice photos can be found here. http://www.alluringworld.com/ss-ayrfield-shipwreck/
Welcome to my Blog. This is a simple Blog to record my adventures. I love exploring and though I would try and share some of my adventures. I live in Sydney Australia and am always finding little adventures to go on in this beautiful city and surrounding areas. I'm also trying to discover the weird and wonderful history that goes along with it.
